Anticoccidial Feed Concentrate
ACTIVE CONSTITUENT: Dinitolmide 1,000 g/kg

An aid in the prevention of coccidiosis of broilers, replacement pullets and turkeys.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Broilers and replacement pullets: Thoroughly mix 125g of PhibroDOT 1000 per tonne of feed to produce a concentration of 125g/t Dinitolmide in the finished feed.

Turkey growers: Thoroughly mix 190g of PhibroDOT 1000 per tonne of feed to produce a concentration of 190g/t Dinitolmide in the finished feed.

Use continuously for up to 14 days, or as directed by a veterinarian. Consult a veterinarian for advice relating to coccidiosis control programs. PhibroDOT 1000 must be thoroughly mixed in the feed to assure even distribution. It is recommended that the required quantity of PhibroDOT 1000 is pre-blended with 10-20 kg of ground cereal before adding to the total mix.

PRECAUTION:

  • Birds receiving this medication should not be treated with Nitrofurans (eg. Nitrofurazone, Furaltadone).

WITHHOLDING PERIODS:

  • MEAT: Nil
  • EGGS: DO NOT USE in laying hens (chickens/turkeys) or in replacement pullets over 14 weeks of age
  • FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131126; New Zealand 0800 764 766

DISPOSAL

  • Shake and empty contents into medicated feed. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Puncture or shred and bury empty container/bag in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the container/bag below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty container/bag and left-over product should not be burned.

Harmful if swallowed

  • Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wash contacted areas thoroughly after handling.
    Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
    Use personal protective equipment as required.

  • IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
    IF IN EYES: Hold eyes open, flush with water for at least 15 minutes.
    If eye irritation persists: seek medical attention.
    IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
    Use extinguishing media suited to burning materials.

  • Store in a well-ventilated place in a closed container.
